✨ Feature Story – Promoting Positive Developments at UNL

For this project, I researched and wrote a feature story highlighting a noteworthy initiative at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (outside of the College of Journalism and Mass Communications). The story was aimed at a UNL alumni audience for Nebraska Quarterly, focusing on strengthening alumni connection and pride. I conducted interviews, gathered background research, and crafted a compelling, detail-driven story within a 650-word limit. This assignment helped me sharpen my skills in journalistic interviewing, feature writing, and tailoring content for a specific audience and purpose.
